RULES FOR AD ENACTMENT











Type of event : Team Stage event
No of entries : 1 from each college
Time allotted : 60 seconds for the first performance
10 minutes for preparation of the second advertisement
60 seconds for the final enactment



1. Each team can comprise of a maximum of four participants.
2. The preliminary round includes enactment for a product within a stipulated period of 60 seconds.
3. Each team shall be free to choose the product and the type of brand campaigning for the product.
4. The branding of the product should be strictly imaginary and should not resemble any brand available in the market.
5. The team can decide the nature and number of the properties used during the enactment but the organizers shall not provide the logistic support.
6. The product for the final round shall be declared in the house at the end of the preliminaries. Each team will be given a time of 10 minutes to prepare for the final campaign.
7. Enactment for the final round should be completed within a maximum of 60 seconds.
8. Prologue and /or epilogue to the Ad enactment are prohibited.

The following words have been inadvertently introduced into the Rule Book “Letters ad referendum”. Kindly take note of the following :

Patriotic Group Song - Geet Dharti Ke:
1. Page 5: Read six minutes (maximum) of performing time instead of ten.
2. Page 5:Read 4 minutes of stage setting time instead of 2

Western Group Song – Beetles:
1. Page 7: Read six minutes (maximum) of performing time instead of ten.
2. Page 7: Read 4 minutes of stage setting time instead of 2

Business Idea contest – Business Badshah :
1. Page 9: The contestants shall be provided with a problem on the 20th January at the Pre Volcano Meet scheduled at J D Vakil Rotary Commnity Center, Opp IRMA gate, Mangalpura Road, Anand.

Addendum (Additions)

The following are hereby added to bring about more clarity and may be added to the rules specified in “Letters ad referendum”. Kindly take note of the following :

Patriotic Group Song:
1. There will be no limit to the number accompanists in the competition.
2. The teams shall perform on only 1 song in this competition.

Folk Dance - Dance Aborginee’ :
1. The teams may make use of a musical track either in live form or in an electronic format i.e. CD’s.
2. There will be no limit to the number accompanists in the competition.

Western Group Song – beetles :
1. There will be no limit to the number accompanists in the competition.
2. The teams shall perform on only 1 song in this competition.

Assemblage – Junkie Genius:
1. Each team will be allowed to bring 3 different forms of articles over and beyond the articles provided by the organizers.

Fashion Show – hi style:
1.The performance on the ramp by each team should be theme based.

Republic March – Republic Carnival
1. The theme for the tableux in the Republic march should be based on popular Festivals of India
